68th BPSC 2023 Exam
The notification for the 68th BPSC 2023 has been released for various posts in Bihar State Government Department. 281 posts for the job profile of Revenue Officer, Deputy Superintendent of Police, rural Development Officer are rolled out officially. You will be selected on 3 stages:
a) Preliminary Exam - a screening test to test the candidates' general knowledge and current affairs. The exam is usually held in October or November.
b) Mains Exam - consisting of various papers to test the candidates' knowledge and abilities in different subjects. The main exam is usually held in the months of January and February.
c) Interview
BPSC exams, conducted by the Bihar Public Service Commission, are a gateway to a successful career in the state administrative services, police services, and educational services. The exams are divided into two stages, the preliminary exam and the main exam. The preliminary exam is a screening test, and those who qualify it proceed to the main exam. However, the BPSC exams can be challenging, and preparing for them requires a structured approach and proper resources.
BPSC Prelims
The BPSC preliminary exam tests the candidates' general knowledge and current affairs. The exam consists of multiple-choice questions, and those who qualify it will proceed to the main exam.
BPSC Mains
The BPSC main exam consists of several papers that test the candidates' knowledge and abilities in different subjects, including:
General studies
Optional subject
Hindi/English language
Essay
The main exam is followed by an interview, which is the final stage of the selection process.
The BPSC interview is going to be held for around 120 marks. In this round, candidates who qualify for the mains exam shall be called. The final merit list is going to be drafted with the marks secured in the 68th BPSC main exam and interview round.
